How Does Our In-Office Same-Day Dental Crown Mill Work?

We take a digital scan to get a digital impression of your tooth, all done on computers. No messy impression material is required. Then we send that scan to our in-office mill where we digitally treatment plan your crown. Once the dental crown is milled, we cement it right away over your tooth with no need for a second appointment or temporary.

The process works using cutting-edge technology. The digital image of your mouth gets uploaded to our CAD/CAM software. The software then creates a 3D model of your tooth that needs restoration. The model comprises the exact measurements of the dental crown. Our in office crown mill then fabricates the dental crown while your tooth is getting prepared for the procedure. It is possibly the most suitable way to restore your damaged tooth or to improve the look of your smile.
